Are you ready to roll up your sleeves in co-creating a sustainable, local economy right here in Calgary? This spring Simon Fraser University is offering a glimpse into their Certificate program in Community Economic Development by offering a 4 part webinar series on the following topics:

MOBILIZING YOUR PEOPLE with Anne Docherty: May 20th from 11 – 12:30pm

INDIGENOMICS with Carol-Anne Hilton: June 2nd from 11 – 12:30pm

THE LOCAL ECONOMY SOLUTION with Michael Shuman: June 16th from 11 – 12:30pm

Thrive will be hosting a community conversation for each of these webinars. You are invited to be part of this conversation. Bring your lunch and your curiosity to Momentum to participate in the webinar and reflect on ideas shared in a 30 minute dialogue following each webinar. Thrive is delighted to announce Simon Fraser University’s Certificate in Community Economic Development will be offered in Calgary this fall. The program will begin with a one week intensive in Calgary in October 2015, and will be followed by a series of online courses.
